%LOCALAPPDATA%\Ride\ Saved\ Config\ Windows - Engine
- Unreal Engine 5
RV There Yet is a co-op adventure built on Unreal Engine 5.6, and its minimum spec is an Nvidia GTX 970. This guide gives you a free Engine.ini config, the settings to change first, and fixes for stutter and FPS drops on a weaker PC.
Can you run RV There Yet on a low end PC?
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3820
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
- RAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 3.2 GB
- OS: Windows 10
- DirectX: 11
If your PC is below these specs, the game may run poorly even with this config. The config lowers the work your GPU has to do, but it can’t make up for missing hardware.
Best RV There Yet settings for low end PCs
- Use the Low preset first, then change the items below.
- Upscaling: Pick DLSS 4 if you have an Nvidia RTX card. Otherwise pick TSR.
- Frame rate cap: Set it to 60, or 30 if your PC can’t hold 60.
- V-Sync: Turn it off. It can hold your frame rate to the monitor’s refresh rate and add input lag.
- Anti-aliasing: Pick FXAA. It’s the lighter of the two options, while TAA asks more of your GPU.
- Window mode: Pick borderless windowed if you switch between apps often.

How to fix RV There Yet stuttering and FPS drops
RV There Yet is an Unreal Engine 5 game, so the first launch compiles shaders. Let that finish, and expect hitches for the first few minutes.
If you can, install the game on an SSD.
Then work through the basics on Windows:
- Close background apps, such as browsers and overlays from launchers.
- Update your GPU driver from the official site: Nvidia, AMD or Intel.
- On a laptop, plug in the power cable and set the power mode to best performance.
Undo the changes
Delete Engine.ini from the folder. If you made a backup, rename Engine.ini.bak back to Engine.ini instead. The game rebuilds its defaults.
RV There Yet? FAQ
Where is the RV There Yet Engine.ini file?
RV There Yet keeps it in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Ride\Saved\Config\Windows. Press Windows + R, paste that path and press Enter. If the folder is missing, start the game once, close it and check again.
Can RV There Yet run on a low end PC?
RV There Yet's minimum spec is an Nvidia GTX 970 with an Intel Core i7-3820 and 8 GB of RAM. A PC below that may run it poorly even with the Engine.ini config, because the config lowers GPU work but can't replace missing hardware.
How do I fix RV There Yet stuttering and FPS drops?
Let the first launch finish, since Unreal Engine 5 compiles shaders and causes hitches for the first few minutes. Install the game on an SSD if you can. Close background apps, update your GPU driver and use the best performance power mode on a laptop.
Which upscaler should I use on an older GPU in RV There Yet?
Pick TSR if your GPU isn't an Nvidia RTX card, because DLSS 4 needs one. RV There Yet offers DLSS 4 and TSR, so on an older GPU, TSR is the one to pick.
Is it safe to undo the RV There Yet Engine.ini changes?
Yes. Delete the Engine.ini file from the config folder, or rename your Engine.ini.bak backup back to Engine.ini. The game rebuilds its defaults, so nothing stays changed.
